Coast Energy is a privately owned company that provides asphalt products and oils for road contractors across the Midwest. Milestone was selected by Coastal Energy to rehabilitate an existing facility track, improve site drainage, and design a third track to expand the plants capability to receive and offload rail cars for their 15-acre site. The improvements included rehabilitating two tangent tracks (800 TF), design of a new tangent third track (600TF) and relocation/design of a new curve track (900 TF) to provide for a future track loading ramp and weight scale.
Milestone worked with Farmrail (Western Oklahoma’s Regional Railroad) to design and construct a new turnout within Farmrail right-of-way to accommodate future expansion.
